- Mr. Althaus has spent over 25 years in or supporting the Manufacturing and Distribution Industry with responsibilities in many areas including purchasing, quality, production, distribution, and materials management. He has held positions ranging from Shift Supervisor to Corporate Vice President of Operations. Mr. Althaus presently is an independent consultant and educator doing business as Althaus Consulting LLC. His previous area of focus was in leading projects of ERP software implementation in a variety of manufacturing and distribution environments as well as facilitating process reviews and improvements. He presently teaches the APICS body of knowledge “in house” to companies requesting this service. Ron teaches all of the Fundamentals Modules, CPIM Modules, and CSCP Modules. He also teaches the APICS workshops on Lean, Inventory Control and Theory of Constraints. He has taught over 70 classes and hundreds of students in many different companies since specializing in this area in the year 2000.
